Overview

 

 

The Financial Analyst – Operations role is an exciting Business Partnering opportunity that will offer exposure to a variety of functions and stakeholders through the delivery of exceptional financial support. The Finance Analyst will help drive business profitability through analytical insight and variance analysis, a strong understanding of key business drivers, and escalating risks and opportunities to management to make informed business decisions.

Job Description

 

 

As the Financial Analyst you will:

 

  • Perform moderately complex analysis in a specific area such as capital spending and budget
  • Put forward suggestions to improve functional area processes
  • Provide excellent level of customer service to all levels of the business
  • Assist in forecasting, targeting, and budgeting process
  • Assist in development of performance analysis
  • Prepare various ad-hoc reporting requests
  • Prepare various analytical reports
  • Communicate effectively with functional area managers and employees
  • Analyze capital investment opportunities as required 
  • Perform required administrative tasks which may include running SAP reports, participating in meetings, and responding to phone and e-mail messages
  • Maintain various reporting requirements
  • Perform account reconciliations and account analysis
  • Work with the Business Process Optimization (BPO) and Continuous Improvement Teams to identify opportunities to reduce costs
  • Adhere to GAAP and CEO/ CFO Certification
  • Develop and manage various reports in various systems including SAP, Longview, BMR, and BW
  • Communication with District Operator and team
  • Special projects as assignedWork with BPO and CIP Teams on improvement initiatives
  • Work with Store Operators to promote performance sustainability
  • Partner with District Operators to facilitate District training, and finance updates

Job Requirements

 

 

Your Resume and Experience will show us:

 

 

  • An Undergraduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a DEC and a minimum of 4 years relevant experience
  • Working towards accounting designation (CMA or CGA)
  • Previous experience working in Retail environment
