Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

Lead Wholesale Merchandising and Marketing team
•    Develop and design department plan that support the overall banner merchandising strategy, delivering both customer loyalty and sales growth through effective assortment, pricing, promotions, bookings, merchandising and use of customer insights.
•    Coach and develop team and drive employee engagement and development
•    Work with Category Managers to execute category plans that meet the business and customer needs across multiple channels (grocery, convenience store, drug store) and banners within each geographic region.
•    Coordinate and lead quarterly Joint Business Planning meetings between the vendors and the Category Managers and participate in quarterly key account and customer forums.
•    Inspire product and program innovations from the Category Management teams and the vendors.
•    Act as an integrator between Wholesale, National Merchandising, Procurement, Wholesale Operations, Key Accounts and Wholesale sales teams

 

Own the Wholesale P&L and drive strong performance
•    Own and drive overall merchandising, pricing and promotional strategy for Wholesale business
•    Own Category Management of Business Unit-led categories
•    Accountable for Wholesale P&L
•    Define and communicate Wholesale operating targets (financial, operational) and approach
•    Drive increased revenue and efficiencies to strengthen Wholesale's sales and profitability
•    Manage wholesale-specific marketing activities (e.g., customer engagement, market research, customer insight)
•    Assist in the development of new customer acquisition opportunities and Key Account Proposals

 

What you have to offer:

•    An Undergraduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
•    Bilingual French and English preferred
