Job Description

The Coordinator, Wholesale Operations will support the Sobeys Wholesale sales team and the Director of Sales in the Western Region. This position will help optimize sales representative time by assisting with information retrieval and analysis in multiple systems including SAP and Business Warehouse. This position will also act as a liaison between the sales team and other Sobeys Wholesale departments including Merchandising, Procurement, IT, Finance, and Data Services.

Job Requirements

Required:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. 
Ability to stay organized and effectively prioritize while balancing multiple competing priorities. 
Excellent communication skills. 
Experience analyzing and deriving insights from large amounts of data.
A demonstrated ability to take ownership of unexpected issues, and see that they are resolved in a timely manner. 
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment. 

Preferred:
Undergraduate degree in a related field (Business, Computer Science, etc.)
Experience in a sales driven environment considered an asset. 
Experience using SAP. 

Responsibilities:
•    Complete a weekly detailed customer level Sales Analysis for the regional Director and Sales Representatives.
•    Upon request, pull miscellaneous sales reports by customer, warehouse, product, Sales Representative, etc. 
•    Assist with strategy formulation in collaboration with the regional Director by closely analyzing sales trends in the Western Region. 
•    Checking individual product status, inventory levels and customer assortments as per Sales Representative requests.
•    Work with the Merchandising team to correct pricing issues and identify alternative products for customers when the item they prefer has been discontinued or delisted.
•    Identify Work with Procurement to advise on product availability.  
•    Coordinate with IT to help customers experiencing ordering issues.
•    Ad hoc requests from Sales Managers, Directors & Representatives.
