Overview

The Community Investment Coordinator is responsible for the administration of donations, maintenance of the Community Investment database, accurate maintenance of financial records and assisting with the logistical needs of strategic initiatives and partnerships.

Job Description

  • Responsible for oversight of the Community Investment database, ensuring required updates, maintenance and training of teammates occurs within our preferred platform
  • Responsible for the development of standards, guidelines and training materials related to the Community Investment database
  • Administer the intake of donation requests through preferred platform
  • Execute donations related to Grand Openings across the store network, as well as other partnerships as assigned
  • Assist with activations related to Community Investment strategic partnerships and events
  • Coordinate logistics associated with regional and national in-store fundraising campaigns
  • Assist with the execution of company employee payroll donation campaign
  • Coordinate regular reporting cadence in accordance with the Community Investment measurement and evaluation framework
  • Represent the company at internal and external events related to the Community Investment strategy
  • Analyze data to help Community Investment team to determine best investment of resources against goals
  • Track and monitor Community Investment projects' progress against the Community Investment strategy and measurement framework
  • Collaborate with peers to ensure cross-department cooperation and efficiency 
  • Work with marketing analytics to evaluate performance and optimization of strategic initiatives
  • Responsible for all levels of reporting standards and deliverables related to the Community Investment strategy
  • Collaborate with team members on a regular basis to help ensure key initiatives are communicated internally and externally in a timely, engaging way
  • Support financial tracking, reporting and forecasting
  • Monitor Community Investment inbox and respond to inquiries about donations and general information
  • Assist with processing donations including but not limited to gift card orders and cheque requisitions 
  • Other duties as required  


 

Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree or a DEC with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience 
  • Experience in dealing with community organizations
  • Experience in the creation and execution of event plans
  • Experience with measurement and evaluation models whether specific to Community Investment or broader ESG knowledge
