Sobeys is full of growth opportunities, and we are looking for top talent to join our Specialist Execution team.  

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

  • Drive performance to meet targets defined by priorities plan;
  • Articulate key performance indicators to Store and Department Managers
  • Assist in the creation of action plans and budgets, problem solve with Store Management
  • Field questions from Store Management on sales techniques and cost controls
  • Collaborate with Store Management on priorities and industry leading department standards;
  • Communicate departmental priorities and best practices regularly to Store Management and Operations
  • Assess effectiveness of standards and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Manager functional and technical training for Department Managers;
  • Coordinate training and lead sessions
  • Be a resource to Store Management on the department of expertise
  • Implement curriculum and content created be SOP’s and planning
  • Assess quality of training content, delivery and address opportunities for improvement
  • Drive employee engagement and customer experience in department programs
  • Monitor compliance results within department of expertise within the region;
  • Review compliance results (food Safety, etc.) and report on trend/opportunities to Store Management and Operations. 

What you have to offer:

  • Undergraduate degree and 3-5 years experience
  • Experience in leading a store department
  • Experience working with corporate and franchise stores
  • Proficient use of the Microsoft Office Suite

The salary range for this position in British Columbia is $73,000.00 - $101,000.00 . We will consider factors such as your working location, work experience and skills as well as internal equity, and market conditions to ensure that you are paid fairly and competitively.
