This role will be based out of Lawtons 2348 Central Fill.

As the Assistant Manager Central Fill-RPT, you will be responsible for managing the Central Fill Operations, employees (Pharmacy Assistants, RPT's), and day to day operations.
 

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

  • Fosters effective relationships with internal and external support personnel 
  • Collaborates with colleagues to share best practices
  • Ensures central fill pharmacy service obiligations/agreements are executed and attained
  • Exceeds internal and external customer expectations by building strong relationships and delivering customer centric solutions; role model, coach, and reinforce customer service expectations on a daily basis for all staff
  • Maintains high department standards and fosters a positive environment for employees and customers
  • Engages network of Pharmacy Managers as customers and with a continuous improvement mindset facilitates any data transfer, trouble-shoot medication sourcing, and conduct quality assurance on the packaging systems; maintains equipment service and maintenance.
  • Conducts quality assurance on the packaging systems and speciality compounds
  • Champions all diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, ensuring the pharmacy is an inclusive environment
  • Supports, motivates, coaches, develops, trains, and builds relationships with the team
  • Oversees and manages the selection, onboarding, training and development, performance management, and succession planning. 
  • Executes succession planning process for all direct reports 
  • Ensures appropriate balance of labour, with each team member working to full scope
  • Leads and provides support to the specialty compounding services
  • Collaborates with the Facilities Lead or Pharmacy Manager to develop and monitor business plans to achieve/exceed goals, budget, labour and deliver on KPIs 
  • Ensures automation optimization by regularly reviewing automation processes, maintenance, and drugs available
  • Planning and execution of expanded CF services to our pharmacy teams
  • Ensures all regulatory requirements and Company policies, processes, and procedures (e.g., OHS, Loss Prevention) are implemented in the department; responsible to train staff and ensures adherence

What you have to offer:

  • Must be a Licensed Registered Pharmacy Technician, in good standing, in the province of responsibility
  • Injection and First Aid Certification
  • Previous supervisor experience in a pharmacy setting
  • Kroll software experience is preferred

The salary range for this position in Nova Scotia is $49,000.00 - $84,000.00. We will consider factors such as your working location, work experience and skills as well as internal equity, and market conditions to ensure that you are paid fairly and competitively.
