Retail Operations

This team supports our stores. They design and implement initiatives that affect customer service, process improvement, loss prevention, and so much more. Industry leading work enables in-store teammates to create the experiences that customers expect across all the Sobeys banners.

eCommerce

Now more than ever, customers want the option to buy groceries online. Our eCommerce team is flexing their digital muscle to make product selection, pick-up, and delivery as seamless as possible. With services ranging from Voilà in the Greater Toronto area to Sendial in B.C.to curbside pickup in Nova Scotia, we’re developing the eCommerce tools for all stores that keep us at the forefront of the grocery industry.

Supply Chain

With more than 1500 stores and thousands of products, supply chain management needs sharp thinkers with excellent planning skills. This team coordinates a complex national supply network including wholesale business and direct-to-store deliveries that include fresh and frozen foods. As we support a growing eCommerce presence, we need even more great teammates to further strengthen our supply chain.

Merchandising

Trend-spotters with a knack for knowing our customers helps us bring the best and newest products to our stores. By building strong relationships with suppliers, we can provide the staples that communities rely on and introduce the innovative items that make us special. All with an emphasis on providing local, sustainable, and diverse choices! 

Marketing

Join the wizards of retail by taking your place on the marketing team. This group develops creative ways to differentiate customer experience by understanding shoppers through research and data analysis. Working across the Sobeys family of banners, they push boundaries in branding to make us stand out.

Technology

Great customer service makes every experience easier and better—that’s why we’re invested in being the best in the industry. Our technology team takes big ideas and works with our operators to implement them at store level. Use your technical skills to make a difference for 6 million customer visits every week.

Human Resources

Legal

Our legal team provides advice, strategy, and guidance for the complex business needs of the industry. Versed in compliance and regulations, they act as stewards for Sobeys and Canadian retailers.  This small and agile team is challenged by exciting work that’s also rewarding.
